Your entry fee includes parking of only a prescribed number of vehicles in your team space until the event is over. The number of vehicles allowed will be determined by the size of your space. To ensure proper access by emergency assistance, all vehicles must fit completely within the confines of your team space boundaries. Additional vehicle parking passes for the gravel lot are free for an unlimited number of vehicles. These passes will allow 1 drop off trip to your team space. Due to traffic and safety concerns, there will be absolutely no vehicle movement allowed during public gate hours. Contestant check-in details will be announced closer to the event on www.thinkbbq.com. Applications submitted with payment by the 04/16/09 will receive preferential treatment with regard to space location. After that, teams will be placed in the remaining spaces according to size, needs and availability. We will do everything we can to accommodate your preferences with regard to neighboring teams and special circumstances. Consideration will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications submitted with payment by 12/31/09 will receive a $25.00 “early bird” discount. Applications submitted after the 04/16/10 deadline will incur a $25.00 late fee and those submitted after 05/01/10 will incur a $50.00 late fee.
In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages and/or loss I may have against the 25 to 1 Fund, The Great American Barbecue Contest, the Kansas City Barbecue Society, The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, Wyandotte County Parks and Recreation, the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and New West Productions, their representatives, successors, and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me in this event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the 25 to 1 Fund and/or The Great American Barbecue Contest and/or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings and any other record of this even for any authorized purpose.
